The Baby Of A NEW YOU Is Emerging

Imagine the pain you’re going through right now signifies you’re pregnant with something new.

Now that you know you have a baby on the way, how can you nourish him/her? Certainly those who are pregnant must nourish themselves well. Journey along with me…

How are you eating?

How are you moving?

How are you resting?

How are you having fun?

I began thinking about this analogy a few months ago when an emotional pain took over my life. The only hope I could give myself was saying: “Alexa imagine this pain you’re going through is that you’re pregnant with something new. So - it is vital to support the baby’s development well.”

Here are some raw notes I took in asking myself how I was going to support the new me’s development. Supportive practices for both physical and emotional health:

How are you eating?

  • Nutrient dense meals.

  • I imagine my cells are happy and jumping with joy with the gift of nutrients + true nourishment.

  • Picturing your cells as your babies.

  • My cells are at peace & nourished.

  • Macro + micro nutrients in balance.

  • Eating in a way supportive to my overall vaginal and body healing.

How are you moving?

  • Sensually.

  • Courageously.

  • Mighty.

  • Fun.

  • Elegantly.

  • Ferociously.

  • Weights.

  • Running.

How are you resting?

  • Naps.

  • Silence.

  • In prayer with God.

  • With discipline to do so.

  • Evolving night time routines.

  • Conversation with my ancestors.

  • Supportive self practices (think reflexology)

How are you having fun?

  • Prioritizing the things that light me up
